As a Registered Nurse with 20 years of nursing experience and a specialized focus in medical aesthetics and enhancement since 2015, she is driven by a profound passion for celebrating individual expression and inclusivity in the San Antonio area. With a comprehensive understanding of both medical and aesthetic principles, she brings a unique blend of expertise to every client interaction. Dr. Asaf (About My Journey)
I was an Intensive Care doctor for 10 years (including through the pandemic). I knew I was helping many of my patients, but I was always meeting them on the worst day of their lives. As I have gotten a little older, I have come to realize that life should not be about its worst days - that epiphany led me to explore new ways to use my experience in medicine to improve the lives of my patients. By refocusing my energy into aesthetics, I can use my expertise to improve how my patients look and therefore how they feel - letting them get more out of life every day.
Dr. Asaf (Brief Biography)
Dr. Asaf Presente is a highly experienced physician who transitioned from ICU/critical care medicine to full time medical aesthetics. He began his career as a physician-scientist (MD/PhD) and as Associate Medical Director at Palomar Health. In addition to his three Medical Board Certifications, he received advanced training from the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine.
